In 1998, Sir Peter Jackson and his scouting team discovered Alexander Sheep farm in the heart of Waikato – this 12 acre plot is now transformed into Hobbiton, home to the iconic rolling green hills that we all know and love. With this tour, you can immerse yourself in movie magic in a journey through the most beautiful parts of Middle Earth! Your guide will show you around the set, showing you the intricate details of props, show you the classic locations, and explain the process of filming. You’ll see hobbit holes, the Mill, and The Green Dragon inn where you’ll be treated to an exclusive Hobbit Beverage.
