A Victorian Escapade in Mullingar

The business is located in the famous Clonard House, which has been on the site since 1801! The house has had quite a journey since it was built. Originally, it was the George Rochforts, the earl of Belvedere. Then bought by the Meath Catholic Diocese in 1952, and from there, it was bought by Ted O’Leary, Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary’s father and the family lived here for many years!

Where can I find the Victorian Escapade?

The facility is located in Clonard House in Mullingar, it can be accessed via its entrance on Dublin Road, facing the Prospect housing estate.

Nowadays, it is owned by Victorian Escapade, which provides unique birthday and special events for visitors. Upon arrival, visitors are dressed as servants, and are told to do some chores around the house! Then visitors are dressed as Lords and Ladies, giving them a unique experience of both ends of the Victorian Spectrum. From there, visitors are brought for some games and dance upstairs, before ending the event in the dining room for Afternoon Tea. So, what are you waiting for?
