Aircraft Museum in Doncaster

Take flight into a world of history and heritage at The South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum in Doncaster! The museum is run by dedicated volunteers and labelled as a registered charity. Suitable and aimed towards all age groups, the museum is happy to cater for school and other group visits. Visitors are encouraged to come and check out the impressive collection of aircraft and uncover the stories and history behind each plane and each period of time! For a day of aerial exploration, guests will be left with great memories at The South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum!

As well as the extensive list of aircraft in the collection at the museum, there are also various other displays including ’11 weeks in 1982′, ‘WW2 Operations Room Recreation’, ‘Early Aviation’, ‘The Sheffield Blitz’, and ‘Radio and Radar’. With such a variety of exhibits and collections, there is something tailored to meet each visitors needs and something for every visitor of the museum to enjoy!

• The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm during British Summer Time and 10 am to 4 pm through the winter
