Ready for a deep dive into the history of Communication, Transport, Craft and Industry?! At the Amberley Museum, they have everything there ready for you to go see to get an understanding of how many industries have changed over the years and see all the progress within them.

Where is the Amberly Museum?

The Museum is on New Barn Road north of the Amberley station.

The transport section has a collection of old transportation to view such as an old fashion train collection and an original fire truck. The communications section is where you will learn the progressions of communication by seeing what old phones used to be like with their classic phone boxes. The Industry section is there to teach you about the factories that were used to create many things such as the print shop where you will see the machines used to make newspapers back in the eighteen hundreds and last but not least the Craft section where you will get to see what it was like to make tools and see what a classic blacksmith was like. If you are wanting to take a step back in time and learn something on your day out then this is the activity for it.
