This garden is set in a beautiful area with surrounding cliffs. The garden is renowned nationwide for its beautiful rhododendrons, azaleas, herbaceous plants, streams, and waterfalls. The garden was set up in 1930 on a 5-acre plot by Thomas Mawson and his actress wife Faith Celli and has now achieved historical status.

Where are the An Cala Gardens?

The gardens are located not far from the town of Oban, Follow the A816, turning right at Easdale for 8 miles.

This fantastic garden took almost a year and six men to build, trying to incorporate the best selections of plants into their plot. Adult admission to the garden starts at £5, and children go free! The facility is open from the 1st of April to the 31st of October, 10 am to 6 pm. So what are you waiting for?
