Animal Farm in New Zealand

Are you looking for a fun and educational day out for the entire family? At Glenorchy Animal Experiences they have a wide range of animals to visit and learn about while also admiring the stunning views from the surrounding scenery of the farm.

The farm is a fantastic place to bring children and introduce them to some very friendly animals, at the farm they have over 100 farm animals to meet as well as there being self-guided tours. At certain points during the day at the farm, you will be able to watch one of the farmers demonstrate how to shear a sheep, you can stand back and watch as well as ask questions. At the farm, you can also have the opportunity to hand feed a variety of the animals there such as Sheep, Horses, Ducks and even Alpacas! The farm is a great place to get to spend time with the animals and learn about farm life.
