This fantastic facility is a registered charity, which means that any profits acquired by the business will go straight back into the company, like staff and upkeep of the facility. The building acts as a sporting complex with a 25m pool, sports halls, 5 tennis courts, a dance studio, a sauna, and a cafe with soft play facilities.

Where can I find Atlantis Leisure in Oban?

The facility is located at 1 Dalriach Road, near the Oban Community Play Park and Longsdale car park.

The Atlantis Leisure Facility was dreamt up in 1992 when the Oban area was in need of a new leisure centre. Thanks to the Charity, the old council swimming pool and its land were acquired under a 21-year lease. To this day, Atlantis Leisure has remained community focused and intent on providing the best service to that area. The company are committed to continuing its service to the community, and aims to do this for at least the next 25 years!

If you’re looking for somewhere to take the family on your weekend, or just get your exercise in for the day, then the Atlantis is the ideal place – get your workout done in the gym, register for one of their fun sports or fitness classes, go for a refreshing swim or take the kids along to their soft play area. After exerting all that energy, there’s some tasty food and drinks waiting for you at the café. They also partner with various other communities and organisations to hold an exciting range of events, so keep an eye out on their social media!
