Bann Valley Fishery in County Antrim

The breathtaking man-made lake was constructed by the McFadden family, in the hopes that it will attract new and returning wildlife to the area. With the addition of an island in the centre of the lake, the sanctuary has been provided for the likes of ducks, water hens, swans, and other bird species. Visitors are guaranteed a warm, friendly welcome from the team at Bann Valley Fishery. All of which provide extensive knowledge of the lake and will give you everything you need to make your trip as memorable as it can be!

• Catch and release basis
• Average catch between 2lb-3lb (some fish as big as 13lb)
• Toilet available
• Comfortable shelter with a roof, windows, and log burning stove to relax in
• Seating areas are located all around the fishery for those fishing to relax
• Children welcome (under supervision)
• Dogs allowed (must be kept on a lead)
• Lake is open all year round, Thursday to Sunday from 9 AM to Dusk
