Bath Abbey is a parish church of the Church of England and former Benedictine monastery in Bath that has been a place of worship for well over 1000 years! With that much history and the amazing building we are sure you’ll be taken aback by just how massive and beautiful this cathedral is and how much there is to learn inside!

Where is the Bath Abbey?

Bath Abbey is located In between Pulteney Bridge and Thermae Bath Spa, right in the heart of Bath's old town!

The stars of the show are the stained glass windows, specifically the Great East Window, which shows the story of Jesus in 56 beautiful scenes and is worth the visit alone. But, there’s much more to see! As you can see in the picture above, the ceiling and gothic arches are a true spectacle and there is also many other stained glass windows, artwork, and chapels to see and learn about when your there. They also do tours so you can get the inside scoop on the history and current use of the iconic abbey!

The Abbey is free to visit just chekc online so you don’t visit when there is a service on as it is still and active cathedral.
