Benmore Botanic Garden

Get back to basics and enjoy the great outdoors once more. Located just seven miles north of Dunoon, Benmore Botanic Garden boasts one of Scotland’s most scenic facilities. Nestled within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National park and the Argyll Forrest Park. With 120 acres of garden and seven miles worth of beautifully restored buildings and exotic flowers such as the 300 species of Rhododendron.

Where can I find Benmore Botanic Garden?

The gardens are easily accessible by following the A815 seven miles from Dunoon and the Cowal Peninsula.

Upon entry, visitors are greeted by magnificent 150-year-old redwood trees which make for some of the most beautiful entrances in Scotland. Visitors to the garden can climb upon plantings that boast viewpoints of up to 450ft. The gardens have also recently restored their original Golden gates and Bhutanese Pavillions.
