If you are a lover of all animals then you need to come along to Andy Howey’s Birds of Prey & Reptile Centre! Join in for an educational and interactive experience with a large range of magnificent birds of prey, fun-loving reptiles and creepy crawlies!

Why should I visit the Birds of Prey & Reptile Centre in Northumberland?

Based in the family holiday caravan park at Haggerston Castle, the Birds of Prey & Reptile Centre has something special for all of the family to enjoy, from the soft and cuddly, creepy and crawly, and scaly and slimy! There really is an abundance of exciting animals for guests to come and admire and learn about!

Each experience at the centre gives everybody a chance to get up close and personal with the resident creatures and lasts roughly around 45 minutes!

The animals are only ever brought out one at a time in a safe and controlled environment when guests are getting a closer look. Don’t worry if you don’t want to get hands-on with the animals, fears are respected at the centre and the staff will make sure guests don’t feel uncomfortable!

On days when the weather isn’t great, all displays and experiences are held inside the Centre, however, seating can be limited so make sure to book in advance! Visitors are encouraged to book ahead of time and to arrive at least 5 minutes before time as during the session times the main doors are shut so this gives time to ensure entry to the Centre.

For information about prices and booking, please get in touch with the Centre via telephone or email!
