Brewery Tour at Tennents Brewery

Love beer? Then why not make your way down to Glasgow’s own Tennents Brewery! Officially known as Wellpark brewery. This famous old brewery has been engrained in Glasgow’s psyche and culture since 1556, So this tour would suit history lovers also. This tour will demonstrate how Scotland’s favourite beer is and has been made through the centuries. It will also bring you along to its heritage centre, where you learn all about Tennant’s impact on Scottish, sports, music, and culture (which is free). You will also be given a detailed look at Tennent’s history, with a vast array of past Tennents brands and cans.

Where can I find the Wellpark Brewery?

The Brewery is located in Glasgow's east end, not far from Glasgow cathedral and necropolis. Bus and rail routes are plenty to and from this area. Although, if walking to the factory is only 15 minutes walk from George square.

Although the heritage centre on the tour is free, patrons who pay for the tour will be given access to it before and will be allowed to spend some time looking at exhibits. Tennents provide a number of tours on their website, including their own heritage tour, Crafting and brewery tour, Celtic park and brewer tour, and Glasgow bike tours.
