Experience the history beneath your feet

Every week, the Queen Anne Site tour will take you on a guided walk to learn more about Castle Coole and the history hiding beneath your feet.

The estate in 1707 would have looked substantially different from what it does today, thanks to extensive improvements made by the owner, Col. James Corry, who inherited the land from his father. The Queen Anne House was erected, and major expansions to the estate were undertaken, including a vast walled deer park, which is now completely gone.
