All guests are in for a treat when visiting this magnificent building, with lots to learn about the history of the cathedral and a number of marvellous sights to see, this venue is a must for visitors of the Coventry area!

Why should I visit Coventry Cathedral?

Since its opening in 1962, Coventry Cathedral became a major tourist attraction straight off the bat, welcoming thousands of visitors each year! Tourists and pilgrims travel from all corners of the world to come and experience the magnificent building and share the quest for peace that is embodied by the contrast between the Ruins and the New Cathedral! Coventry Cathedral would love new visitors to come along and be welcomed with open arms!

The New Cathedral building is open to all visitors between 10 AM and 4 PM from Monday to Saturday, and from 13.30 PM to 3 PM on Sundays! Visitors do not need to book a ticket to visit the Cathedral but due to the business of the working church, occasionally access can be limited or closed completely. If you are planning a visit to the Cathedral it is recommended to visit their website prior to your visit to double-check the calendar and avoid busy dates! There is a cafe located on the Cathedral’s ground so visitors can grab a bite to eat and refuel with some refreshments after a day of exploring the Cathedral’s history! There is also a gift shop for visitors to pick up some souveniers and help make their visit more memorable!
