Ceòl Cholasa Music Festival on the Isle of Colonsay

Also known as ‘the best fest in the west, Ceòl Cholasa is a small, intimate music festival that takes place on the Isle of Colonsay. The concerts are held in the town of Scalasaig, with the venue having a capacity of only 250 people, so it’s best to book ahead to avoid disappointment. They mainly cover the traditional music genre, so if that’s your thing then this is the festival for you! Since this festival is on the smaller side, it’s an excellent opportunity to meet some fascinating fellow music lovers and even meet the artists themselves!

Where can I find Ceòl Cholasa?

The gigs are all held in Scalasaig (in their local village hall) - the CM10 ferry will take you there!
  • Afternoon Sessions: 2pm-5pm
