Tips for beginners in clay pigeon shooting
- Make sure you work out which eye is more dominant. Using your dominant eye to aim is very important and helps your aim and will help you improve.
- Make sure your form is comfortable and you have a good standing position. Your instructor will help you with this but, it also helps you stay comfortable and relaxed while shooting.
- Try not to delay your shot too much. Try and shoot the clay while it is still rising and try and be calm and relaxed. This will improve your shot and your chances a lot!
- Try not to follow the clay with your eyes but rather follow it with the site of the gun.
