What is the Percy Thomson Gallery?

The Percy Thomson Gallery is Stratford's public art gallery and was opened in 2002 by former mayor and businessman Percy Thomson.

Over the years, the gallery has developed and grown to the point where it is now receiving national recognition as a thriving and diverse exhibition space for all age groups and interests and involving the community at large! The gallery provides an in-depth programme of exhibitions and events both generated from other art collections. There are new exhibitions to check out every three to four weeks and can vary between national, local and regional artists!

The gallery also encourages young artists by hosting the annual Youth Show, where the younger artists and school kids are given the opportunity to showcase their best skills in various different formats. This event is very popular and is a joint venture between the Stratford District Youth Council, Stratford Art Society and Percy Thomson Gallery.
