Where can I go diving in Leicester?
There’s an exciting underwater world waiting to be explored in Stoney Cove. There are plenty of ‘wrecks’ to be discovered, including Stanegarth, the largest inland wreck and the Nautilus Submarine. The cove is also a paradise for wildlife, including the large population of pike that have become famous after their many TV appearances! Stoney Cove welcomes divers of all levels, from total beginners to veterans and experts. The dive areas are labelled to reflect ability, so you can dive wherever you feel comfortable. Diving beginners can take a training course, where you’ll have your very own instructor to guide you – you’ll be diving as deep as you can go in no time!
Don’t forget to finish off your visit to Stoney Cove back on the shore, with outstanding views of the lake and Nemo’s bar, offering a delicious selection of food and drinks to relax with on the terrace.
