Where can I experience history in Ireland?

Of course, Ireland is world-renowned for its culture and history. With sites all across the island, catered to showcasing this. One of the most impressive is Kilruddery House, just outside Bray.

Originally, it is thought that the land was owned and occupied by the local Gaelic Aristocracy. However, during the Norman Conquest, the land was taken by Nicholas De La Felde. Interestingly, this was leased to the Abbey of St Thomas and it included a large proportion of the area. There was even a burial ground, rural retreat and a chapel all built by and for the monks. This is only an insight into the history here. So, why not make your way down to Kilruddery and take it all in!
