Have you ever wanted to discover wildlife in Scotland? Or are you interested in Birds of Prey? If so, then make sure to visit the Kintail Birds of Prey Centre! This is currently Argyll’s only centre that displays over 25 native Scottish birds of prey. The facility is located in; arguably, one of the most scenic parts of the country, overlooking the beautiful Loch Awe. This area has a vast amount of wildlife to showcase, like Squirrels, Pine Martyns and Scottish Deer, but of course, the main attractions are the birds.

Where is the Kintail Birds of Prey Centre?

The Kintail Birds of Prey Centre is on the banks of Loch Awe, about 22 miles drive from Inveraray.

The facility is open all year round and offers different types of tours and experiences for visitors to choose from. These include a One-hour basic tour, A 90-minute Falconry Experience 3 and a half-hour Falconry experience. These tours give visitors the opportunity to meet, photograph and get up close and personal with these magnificent birds. The facility recommends booking in advance to avoid any disappointment. So what are you waiting for? Come and make the most of your day off and have a day out that you will surely never forget!
