Family Friendly Mountain Biking at Margam Country Park

Calling mountain bikers of all ages and abilities! Are you looking for a full on day of adventure in South Wales? Get yourself down to Margam Country Park and spend half a day riding the Margam Deer Mountain Bike Trail. The trail is a whopping 22km and features a variety of terrain, from fast and flowing gravel track to tight, technical turns and jumps deigned to challenge more experienced riders. The trails are well set up for family riding with alternate runs and exit tracks.

Where can I find Mountain Biking near Swansea?

Head out to Margam Country Park and take yourself around the excellent mixture of family friendly trails!

There are green, blue, red, and black loops within the trail centre, all well maintained by volunteers from the local physical activity sport service, Neath Port Talbot. In addition to Mountain Biking Margam Country Park has watersports, a Go Ape high ropes centre, orienteering, fishing and a castle to explore as well so there’s plenty to do on a family day out.
