Fantastic Wood Work and Art at Fynewood Gallery

For art lovers, why not make your way down to Fynewood Gallery and see some of the finest work from Argyll artists. Along with showcasing Argyll-based artists’ work, there is also an opportunity to buy beautiful handmade ornaments and art-style gifts.

Where can I find the Fynewood art gallery?

The gallery is located in Dunoon town centre on Hamilton street.

At Fynewood gallery, they specialise in wood sculptures, which is an interesting twist on a gallery. The Dunoon-based gallery is happy to showcase artists’ work and also provides the opportunity to contact the artists directly. The Gallery is also heavily involved in the promotion of exhibits like the Cowal Open Studios, in which for four days, over 50 artists, potters, painters, sculptors, jewellery makers, and photographers who are local to the area open up their doors to showcase their work to visitors.

Some of the works on display in the gallery include local Fynewood wood creations which are perfect for furniture and home decor. There are also selections of local tapestry weaving, where the resident artist provides one-to-one tuition. Other items on display and for sale include oil paintings, handmade stoneware, and jewellery.
