Where can I go flying in Aberdeen?

Located 35 miles outside of Aberdeen, Longside Airfield (also known as Peterhead RAF) is the perfect location for you to try out flying!

This airfield is full of history, as it was a prominent aircraft base and active during WWII. With AberdeenAir, you can experience the novel feeling of flying while also standing where history took place and unravelled. Spectators are also welcome, so if this is a personal bucket list, but you would like to come along with friends or family, the facility has designated spectator spaces.

  • Prices from £145 per person can add another person for £20
  • Your flight course can also change depending on the weather
  • 30 minute and 45-minute flight length options available (can extend time, phone and discuss with staff)
