Geysir Golf Course near Reykjavik

Calling all golf aficionados! What more can a golfer ask from a course than gorgeous surroundings and challenging gameplay? The Geysir Golf Course near Reykjavik meets both of these criteria and makes for an incredible golfing experience!

Haukadalsvöllur first opened its doors back in July 2006. The course is located close to the hot spring area in Haukadalur and you can sometimes see the Strokk and Geysir blowing out during your round! Haukadalsvöllur is a 9 hole course and each hole is named after one of the hot springs found in the surrounding area.

When setting foot on the first tee, the stunning surroundings are immediately made apparent! The course was originally designed with nature and the environment in mind, and the location of the course is almost identical to the environment it was before construction began.

Haukadalsvöllur is open to all guests, including companies, workplaces or groups of friends to hold their own personal golf tournaments.

The courses clubhouse comes equipped with a beautiful view of Haukadalsvöllur as well as a view of the hot spring area where eruptions can be seen regularly. There is a variety of food and refreshments on offer in the clubhouse including coffee, cakes, buttered bread, soups and soda, juices, alcoholic beverages and more.

The golf shop located at the course sells branded clothing, shirts and hats, as well as the fundamental items that could be missing for your round of golf, such as golf balls, gloves, tees, flat forks, flat marks, etc.
