Giffords Hall Vineyard in Suffolk

Fancy yourself to be a wine aficionado? Then you’ll love Giffords Hall Vineyard!

Were can I find Giffords Hall Vineyard?

Giffords Hall Vineyard is located very close to the village of Hartest in South Suffolk.

Giffords Hall Vineyard is a stunning place to be, located in Hartest in the beautiful Upper Stout Valley. The vineyard itself is family-owned, planted on what was once an ancient glacial riverbed near the picturesque village of Long Melford. This soil is crucial to the production of their delicious wines, as it is high in both natural sugars and acids so it’s perfect for creating a more floral, aromatic wine. Giffords Hall Vineyard offers both private and grand tours, with the latter being similar to a mini-fair of sorts welcoming a lot of people into the vineyard at once. Whichever type you choose, both tours offer the chance to learn about the history behind Giffords Hall wine and the wine-making process itself, from trellising to pruning, and harvesting to husbanding! And, of course, a visit to the tasting room to sample the wines for yourself.

There is also a shop and a cafe on-site if you feel peckish or if you would like to buy a bottle of their award-winning wine to take home with you.
