Go Skiing on Mount Ruapehu

Both on the north and south side of the mountain, and this is where visitors will take off from.

Where can I go Skiing in New Zealand?

Skiing is a popular activity across New Zealand, especially near the Southern Alps. One of the most interesting and popular destinations on the northern island is Mt Ruapehu.

In both summer and winter months, the mountain is accessible, with skiing running throughout the year. Before starting, visitors will be transported over 1.8km in distance, up to the take-off point, which is placed at a magnificent 2020m above sea level. So, if you are an adventurous Funstacker, and love to Ski, then the views along will force your hand and convince you to visit Mt Ruapehu!
