Where can i go cycling in Ireland?

Recently, there has been a surge in the repurposing of old abandoned railway lines in Ireland. Many of these have been converted into Greenways for cycling and walking. One of the finest examples of these is the Waterford Greenway.

This is a 46km long cycle and walking only track, which runs alongside the old Waterford to Dungarvan railway. Visitors can take their time exploring the famous old Viking City of Waterford, then through Mount Congreve Gardens, alongside the River Suir and then on through Kilmacthomas. Alongside this, visitors can steam through old railway tunnels, across bridges and in and out through the hillsides. So, what are you waiting for? Make the most of your next day off and take a trip along the Waterford Greenway!
