Where can I try gold panning in Perthshire?
Highland Safaris Gold and Gem Panning experience will take approximately 30-60 minutes but visitors are free to take along as they need to get through their purchased bucket of stones.
Parking at Highland Safaris is free of charge, as well as the Discovery Trail they have to offer and the viewing platform!
The Gold and Gem Panning experience takes place at the Highland Safari Lodge, near Aberfeldy, Perthshire. To find the lodge, from Aberfeldy follow the B846 for 2 and a half miles past Castle Menzies.
- Available from mid-March until the start of November
- Open from 9 am to 5 pm
- Cafe, Shop, Toilets and Panning Flume all fully wheelchair accessible
- Buckets of stones cost £7.50 each
