What can I play golf in County Down?

There's no better place to play than the home of worldwide famous golfing star Rory McIlroy! You'll find the venue about a 15 minute drive from Belfast city centre via the A2, or ride 3 stops on NI Railways from Lanyon Place to Holywood Train Station and walk a further 20 minutes.

With their cutting edge technology, you’ll be transported to over 100 different golf courses from around the world, while receiving accurate critiques on aspects of your game that you may have never considered before. Whether it’s analysing your numbers with a range session on Trackman, breaking down your weight distribution with the camera system and force plates on HD Golf, or simply just playing a round on the simulation, the indoor simulator lounge allows you to practice, train and play all year round, come rain or shine.

Using doppler radar, the Trackman system tracks the 3D movement of the club head through the impact zone, whilst also 3D tracking the golf ball in full flight until landing, with the ability to account for weather allowing for accurate game play. The HD Golf Simulator fully immerses you in the game with it’s incredible realism, accuracy and ease of use, creating an impressive indoor golf experience.

Your experience will be accompanied with a wide selection of competition and games; Darts, Tic-Tac-Toe, Closest-To-Pin and many more. Holywood is the only location in Northern Ireland that you can be screened in a performance gym by a TPI Level 3 Fitness trainer, and handed over to a TPI Level 2 Golf coach in a state of the art simulator lounge that analyses your golf swing in detail!
