Why should I go to Love Gorgie Farm?
Where can children learn about animals in an educational hands-on environment?
At LOVE Gorgie Farm children can attend a wide range of programmes to embrace outdoor learning
and learn about animals and how to care for them.
Meet some amazing creatures such as ferrets, snakes, birds, alpacas and very cute guinea pigs.
Enjoy farming then here is your chance, with the Earth School programme children and adults can
create educational tools to create a brighter and eco-friendly future.
For early years there is a mini farm for children to engage with animal nature and learn the ethics
and values of caring for the earth.
The Wilding project supports children who need a bit of extra support out of school education, this
project provides learning experiences through outdoor activities specially designed for kids with
additional support needs helping them to participate and connect with nature.
Love cooking? Well at the Garden Forest you can grow, cook and eat together while enjoying the
fresh air and nature.
Going away on holiday? Don’t worry you can also book a holiday for your pet at Gorgie Farm and
will take good care of your loving small animals.
Want to experience something new? Enjoy an amazing walk around the farm with the Alpaca in tow
and see some of the animals as you walk by.
