Hand Applique Workshop in Norfolk

Are you a creative person looking for your newest creative outlet? Why not have a go at hand applique and head over to the Eau Brink Studio in Norfolk for a workshop. As part of this workshop, you will get to make your very own hand-stitched applique flower picture with the guidance of teacher Ruth Holmes. Expect to be taught several 3D techniques, and learn the embroidery stitch you want to use as you build your picture during the day.

The materials used to make the art are found and recycled fabrics, making this fun project a more eco-friendly one! Although the material and threads used to make your flower picture will be provided, you will need to bring your sewing kits which should include needles, pins, and small and large scissors. And of course, if you would like to bring a fabric to use from home you are more than welcome to do so. It is also advised that you bring along a packed lunch with you but there will be hot drinks and cake there for you all day!
