Where can I go dogsledding in Iceland?
What started with only 1 husky has turned into a family of 14 happy dogs that run adventures in the Akureyri area with a number of exciting activities. If the snow has been falling, take a dog sledding tour right from their home and around the stunning surrounding mountains and the biggest fjord in Iceland, and tick one more dream off your bucket list! Compete with your friends on the ‘fun run’ where you can pick your own fluffy friend to race, or if you’re after some a little more relaxing, hike with the huskies with beauitful views over Eyjafjörður in the woodlands and mountains.
Your welcoming mushers will tell you everything you need to know and answer any of your questions about the fluffy dogs or Iceland. Each experience includes some relaxing time with the Huskies where you’re welcome to pet and cuddle them to your hearts content, and a coffee or tea to warm you up. This experience is great for the soul and a must-do for any trip to Iceland!
