Try ice skating at the Dundee Ice Arena and become the next snowsports sensation! Whether you have no experience at all or you’re already a pro, all are welcome to get onto the ice and feel the thrill of gliding around the rink. Here you can join the public sessions where you can skate at your own pace with friends and family. Skates are available for hire from a toddler size 6 up to an adult size 14 and for young children who are just starting out you can hire a penguin skating aid to help with their balance. If you fancy honing your skills, why not book yourself a lesson? Their coaches can teach children and adults how to skate for fun, or if you think you have what it takes, you can learn up to competition standard!

With public sessions for people of all abilities, lessons to help improve your skills and snow baby sessions for the young ones to have fun safely on the ice, anyone can come here and have a great time! Whether you’re showing off to your mates, or having a laugh as you all slip over onto the ice, this is a guaranteed great day out! If you’re needing a break and a bite to eat, grab something from the cafe and have a rest as you watch from the stands. Free parking on-site means you can easily get here with a 15-minute drive from Dundee city centre.
