Surfing Tips

Here are some useful tips to get you started on your surfing adventure:

  • First, and most importantly, don’t learn to surf by yourself. Watching them on TV might make it look easy, but it requires lots of practice! Find a friend who can guide you, or better, find a teacher, like in the Wave Bristol.
  • Make sure to pace yourself when you’re in the water – it’s exciting, but it’s important to start small.
  • Keep in mind, that you will fall! This is something new surfers have to get used to but don’t get frustrated – it’s all part of the experience.

The surfing experience provides a controlled environment and without the natural uncertainties and dangers of learning to surf in the sea.
