Discover the subterranean world beneath the peak district and get to grips with caving with Dolomite Training! This introductory caving course will take you through the basics of caving, what equipment you need and how to use it, and is targeted at people who have never tried caving before. Your cave instructor will make sure you are safe and entertained while you explore some truly amazing underground spaces while telling you all about the formation of caves. With most challenges being completely optional, you can tailor your experience to your own comfort level. But you may find that you’re able to push yourself to tackle challenges you didn’t think you could.

You will need to bring warm suitable clothing but they will provide you with a caving oversuit, wellies, helmet, lights and gloves. They recommend lots of layers and fleecy material, and ask that you don’t wear denim. They also ask you bring a change of clothes and a towel in case you get wet, as well as food suitable for being brought underground (chocolate bars, etc and something to drink)
