Island Tours of Hoy

Come and see the beautiful coastline of Hoy and Orkney in a one of boat tour experience!

The team at Island Tours of Hoy offer bespoke private tours every day daily throughout the year. Their scheduled group tours (Maxi & Standard) usually take place every Thursday (they’re currently not offering the Maxi and Standard tours due to COVID, but I recommend checking the website as this could change!). The island of Hoy is a spectacular sight to see, and there’s no better way to take it all in than by boat. It’s the second largest island in the Orkney archipelago, with a varying population of approximately only around 400 residents! There’s plenty to see on Hoy, with its magnificent vertical cliffs being the highest in the British Isles! There are also extensive swathes of picturesque Scottish wilderness featuring an plethora of iconic local wildlife, so there’s plenty to see!

Where can I find Island Tours of Hoy?

They’re based on Hoy. You can easily take a ferry from Orkney to the Island. There’s no bus service on Hoy, so you’re best off bringing a car via the ferry unless you fancy the walk!
  • Standard Tour: £49
  • Maxi Tour: £59
  • Bespoke Tour: £240
