Kielder Birds of Prey Centre holds one of the biggest collections of fascinating Birds of Prey in the whole country! From Owls to Vultures, there are exciting bird species for everyone to enjoy and learn about at the Centre. With a range of experiences and talks, this destination is perfect for all animal lovers who are keen to find out more about these beautiful predator birds!

One of the Centre’s main aims is to play a part in teaching visitors the importance of the birds at the centre and why their habitat is a crucial part of conservation. By educating the younger generations on these beautiful creatures, there will be many people to carry the torch and pass on knowledge through the generations to come!

The Raptor Award-winning training and assessment centre offers a large range of different educational experiences to all guests! From introductions to falconry, to owl experiences, there is plenty of choice for visitors when deciding what animals they would like to see up close and interact with!

  • The centre is open daily from 10.30 am to 4 pm in April until October and from 11 am to 3 pm in November until March
  • Adults £7.50, Children (2-16) £5, Family (2 adults, 2 kids) £23, and Concession £6
