Hereford Cathedral is a must visit if you’re in this historic city. This staggering, nearly 800 year old, building is full of history, culture and heritage and you will have more than enough to sink your teeth into for a few hours. They have lots for you to see and explore in the building and its grounds with beautiful stained glass, pretty gardens, lots of Christian history, and towering gothic arches.

Where is Hereford Cathedral?

Hereford Cathedral is right in the heart of the city and is only a short walk south west of Hereford Station!

The cathedral is also home to ‘Mappa Mundi’ which is a medieval map of the world and is something you can’t see anywhere else in the world! They also have a lovely little café so it’s a great place to take in some history and culture and then have a relaxing cuppa in the sun with some cake. This is a beautiful place to visit when in Hereford and you will not be disappointed by exploring this historic building!
