Though they were driven from Ireland in 902, Ragnall, grandson of Ivar, brought a fleet up the river Suir in 917. On this site, he built a fort, but his ambition was not restricted to Waterford. When he died, he was the king of Waterford. Each experience lasts 30 minutes, as there is only space for 10 people. Booking is highly recommended and is available in English, French and German.
