This historical building is the worlds oldest licesnced distillery, and aims to hang on its heritage in the years to come. Visitors will be taken on a tour, which delves deep into the history of Kilbeggan and Irish Whsikey, from 1757 onwards.
Visitors will also learn how Irish Whiskey has been made through the years, and how Kilbeggan aims to preserve this tradition in its product. You will be able to witness the traditional Oregan Pine Vats, and Oak Mash Tuns. Interestingly, the original Water Wheel that powered the distillery, is still on display today. If travelling from Dublin/Mullingar to Galway, this fantastic Distiller is an important stop. So, what are you waiting for?
