Where can I find the Te Papa Musuem in Wellington?

The museum is located along the Te Papa promenade, near Jervois Quay and Oriental Parade.

Formally, the Colonial Museum, and eventually become the National Art Gallery, under the name of The Dominion Museum. Since then it has been renamed Te Papa, which translates to “Container of Treasures”. The museum’s aim is to provide a bicultural approach to its interactive exhibitions, celebrating all aspects of New Zealand’s culture.
