Family Day Out at The Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre

If so, make sure to visit the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre in Blenheim! This fantastic facility contains an impressive amount of spectacularly preserved, restored and recreated aircraft. The facility was founded in the 1990s, when a group of aviation enthusiasts began importing aircraft. From there, visitors began knocking on their doors, so a centre was established.

Where can I find The Omaka Aviaition Heritage Centre?

The facility is located in the town of Blenheim on the South Island. Located near New Renwick Road, Marlborough Golf Club and Wither Hills Farm Park. The town can be accessed via bus, from Nelson.

The centre aims to tell the story of aviation throughout history. However, the team puts great effort into demonstrating the impact of aircraft on the first and second world wars.
