Are you a motorhead or just like classic cars?  Then why not take a trip to see the Lake Motor Museum, with over 30,000 exhibits to see  Apart from the amazing collection of cars and motorbikes, the museum has one of the largest collections of motoring memorabilia on public display.

The museum is only 9 miles from Coniston Water, so it is fitting that it features a special exhibition and tribute to the recording-breaking motor racing careers of Sir Malcolm and Donald Campbell with full-sized replicas of the 1935 Blue Bird car, 1939 Blue Bird boat K4 and 1967 hydroplane Bluebird K7.  A number of records attempts were set on the Coniston Water, including the fatal run in 1967 in which Donald Campbell exceeded 320mph in Bluebird K7.

Where can I see an amazing car and motorbike collection in Cumbria?
