It’ll be your job to help feed and care for them!

What animals are at the Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation park?

There are far, far too many animals to list here, so here are just a few. Some of the incredible animals include turtles, clownfish, spiders, iguanas, boa constrictors, meerkats, lemurs, otters, alpacas, tortoises, and much, much more! There is a huge variety of animals.

Askham Bryan Wildlife & Conservation Park is a small zoological collection at Askham Bryan College, York offering multisensory  learning experiences. The wildlife park serves as a hub for the local community, welcoming 20,000 visitors a year as well as hosting schools, young people and other local community groups for tours, talks and workshops. The park is home to over 100 species of mammal, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates – many of which are threatened. As a member of BIAZA, the wildlife park is part of a group of collections that provide vital education, conservation and research working in the UK and around the world. This ensures they maintain their very high standards!

Encounters last for approximately 1 hour. Participants must be at least 8 years old, and participants aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
