Hatchet Harry’s is all about teaching the Canadian backyard past time of axe throwing to the UK. Get involved in some cheeky competition with friends and other axe throwing enthusiasts. Whether it’s your first time throwing or you’re looking to improve the finer points of your technique, this is the perfect opportunity for you. The sport of urban axe throwing is taking the UK by storm, so get ready for an experience you won’t forget! A perfect activity for any date nights, Stag and Hen Dos, birthdays, work nights out or if you’re simply looking for something different to do.

How do we get to Hatchet Harrys?

Hatchet Harrys is based right in the centre of Newcastle behind the Life Centre. Park at one of the city centre car parks and wander on down. They're also just an axe throw away from the train station.

Your session will begin with an important safety briefing. Then you and your group will immediately begin to learn all about the art of axe throwing. Once everyone’s up to speed, the tournament commences! This is an opportunity to win prizes, feature on the wall of winners, and join the leaderboard. The tournament finishes with a nail biting knockout stage and the winner is announced. Finally, try out a few trick shots to round the session off and take some photos to show off your new found axe throwing skills. All in all, you’ll learn how to do 4 to 6 different kinds of throws, including standard shots and trick shots, and you’ll complete lots of interactive challenges and games throughout.

Sessions last for 1 hour and group sizes can be 2 or more. Most group sizes can be catered for. Participants must be at least 8 years old.
