Where is the Argory in County Tyrone?

You'll find the National Trust site 3 miles from the M1 - exit on signposted junctions 13 or 14. Note that at weekends, access via Bond's Bridge is closed.

One of the best ways to enjoy the Argory is by taking their tour around the building, where you can learn the history behind the family who lived here and what makes it so infamous! While on your tour, you will come across bonds bridge. Built in 1890 and construction of Iron, it was names after the infamous Bond family. Come and enjoy the spectacular view from the top of this bridge.

The Argory origins

The Argory is the home or Mr. Bond (not that Bond!) of the MacGeough Bond family. It was built 2 centuries ago, all the way back in 1820, by his grandfather Walter. The interior of the house has remained completely unchanged for over 100 years!

If you’re looking for a day out in nature, then why not take part in Percy the park keepers winter wander trail, where you can give nature a helping hand. For bird lovers all round, Come see the Kingfisher blue. Why not take stroll down the Blackwater River and take pictures of those lucky enough to find it!

Finish off with the Lime Tree and Riverwalk – admire the magnificent wonder of nature and discover the kissing gate, various greenery and the kingfisher if you are very lucky!
