Where can I find Belmont Film House?

Belmont film house was built in 1896 as a trades hall but the first film that was shown there was footage of Queen Victoria at Balmoral, this was shown in 1898. As it grew in popularity it became a tradition of hosting cinema shows and in 1910 it was turned into a permanent film house. it has had many names throughout history such as the coliseum and new cinema. Belmont cinema but in 2000 it was reopened after being closed for 47 it reopened as the Belmont Picturehouse but after going through a massive refurbishment paid for by Aberdeen city council with assistance from the national lottery and Scottish screen it was reopened once more and remained to its current name of Belmont film house. The cinema is unique for it doesn’t just show new releases but also shows obscure and different movies that you may never have heard of.
