Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran

Whisky connoisseurs, this one is for you! The Lochranza Distillery and Visitor Centre (curated by the award-winning Isle of Arran Distillers Ltd) is located in the little village of Lochranza on the stunning Isle of Arran. It’s proudly one of the few independent distilleries left in Scotland!

They opened their doors almost 25 years ago, purposefully close to Loch na Davie so they could use its radiant fresh water in their distilling process. The clarity of this special water allows them to formulate a whiskey with a clean, sweet flavour. With access to the purest water in Scotland, they create whiskey like nothing you’ve tried before! Why not book a whisky tasting and try it for yourself?

They range from £15-25 per person, with access to their full range of delicious Arran Single Malts for you to sample. They also have a shop and a cafe on-site! The CASKS Cafe offers breathtaking views of the rugged Scottish landscape, as well as tasty home-baking and hot or cold beverages. Their shop has a huge selection of Whisky to take home, from your Single Malts and Blends to your Cream Liqueurs and even Limited Edition bottlings if you’re after something extra special!
