Helix Park and The Kelpies

Helix Park and the Kelpies have been open since 2013 and have been an iconic site when driving past Falkirk for many travellers. But, as brilliant as they are to drive past, the park and statue are much more than that and are well worth a stop and a walk around! The Park itself has a network of paths over 27km long and link up many smaller communities in the area so they are great for walking, hiking and exploring small communities around Falkirk! They also lead all the way to Falkirk’s famous boat wheel! The park also has a brilliant kids play area close to the visitors centre so you can be sure the little ones won’t go bored.

Where are the Kelpies?

The magnificent 30 metre high sculptures are located in the The Helix Park, a short way outside Falkirk and just off the M9 Motorway!

The Kelpies are a highlight in the park and are also the location of the visitors centre, café, toilets and lots of places to sit down and have a picnic! It also positioned right next to the canal so you can walk down and see lots of pretty canal barges! They also do events at the visitors centre so check their website to see if anything is on.
