Paragliding features a lightweight, free-flying, foot-launched glider aircraft with no rigid primary structure. The pilot sits suspended below a fabric wing. Flying Fever was founded in 1993 by Zabdi Keen who has been flying since 1989 and the sport’s inception in the UK. Arran also has a multi-award-winning whisky and the Arran Distillery is well worth a visit (after your flight!).

  • Flying Fever is a registered BHPA British Hang gliding and Paragliding Association and APPI Association of Paragliding Pilots International registered Paragliding school and has been teaching people to fly for over 25 years
  • Training with experienced pilots and all equipment required is provided
  • Paragliding is very weather dependent, it needs to be dry and the wind below 16mph.
  • Training costs £110 per day.
